To act effectively, it is often needed to rank a set of of items by importance. In many other situations, too, sorting or ranking items is useful. Psychological research shows that humans are better at comparing items than at estimating their importance one by one. Therefore, this tool lets you compare pairs of items to determine their order. There are two variants: Double-out prioritization is more efficient when you are mainly interested in the top items of the ranking, whereas full sorting needs more comparisons but gives equal weight to all parts of the ranking.
